Welcome!

This blog was made to serve families with children who have special needs. Having a place to play is something that every child deserves. Unfortunately, city parks and play grounds don't always provide that. This blog will serve as a resource of the parks of Somerville (and eventually Cambridge....and then the world!) for parents and caregivers to find information about play grounds and if they are appropriate for their kids' needs. Please feel free to leave comments about experiences in parks/playgrounds that you have had. While there are many city guides for typically developing children, I was unable to find something like this. My professional life is devoted to children that have a wide range of abilities and I wanted to do something to serve these awesome kids.
